If you're struggling to work out what to do with your Queens birthday long weekend, we have just the thing. Honest John are playing both a South coast and Sydney shows this weekend.
We kick off the weekend with a set at the Huskisson See Change Festival on Saturday and follow it up with a set on Sunday at the Cat and Fiddle in Balmain supporting Perth rockers, Astro.
Dust off your dancing shoes and zimmer frames and come and see us strut our stuff on stage as you drink a toast to Queen and country.

Hoping you've all recovered from the weekend of sports, drinking and food. In honor of this occasion we've decided to announce another February show, this time in Sydney!
So get your diaries out and mark down Saturday the 16th of February at The Cat and Fiddle in Balmain.
It's sure to be a blast as it's our first official Sydney show this year and we're looking forward to seeing you all again, and hopefully a few new faces also.
For all of those who know the Excelsior Hotel in Glebe, or as we call it "the usual" it's been taken over by some new owners and is closed for renovation.
"What does that mean?" we hear you cry. Well it means that we've had to find an alternate venue for the December gig. So on December the 23rd we'll be playing an afternoon set from 5PM at the Commercial Hotel in Balmain.

"Better Days"" South Coast EP Launch - The Tea Club, Nowra - Friday 26 October.
Honest John will be holding the South Coast NSW launch of their debut EP "Better Days" at the Tea Club Cafe in Nowra on Friday 26 October. They will be joined on the night by the mighty Big Erle, local legends The Mudluck Trio and some tasty food.
The night kicks off at 7pm. Be sure to book at table on 02 4422 0900 so you don't miss out (or visit The Tea Club's website for further information) Tickets $15.

Honest John are happy to announce a short notice gig at The Excelsior Hotel on Bridge St in Glebe, this coming Friday 17th August. We'll be playing with Caroline and Big Earle, and we'll be hitting the stage at about 10pm.

Just a quick note for all you Sydney-siders to let you know that we're playing a gig this Friday night (22 June 2007) at the Excelsior Hotel, on Bridge St in Glebe.
We're first up at 8.30pm, followed by the mighty Jimmy Nicols.

Honest John may have been conspicuously absent from the live scene of late, but we are back out in the pubs this weekend, and ready to rock our little cotton socks off.
We have two lazy Sunday evening gigs coming up, both of which are free:
Sunday 6 May – The Excelsior Hotel, Bridge St GLEBE - playing with the fantastic Mackenzie-Jones, kicking off at 6pm
Sunday 13 May – The Royal Hotel, Norton St LEICHHARDT – 6pm
We’re about to do some final touch ups on our debut EP too, which should be fit for human consumption some time in the not to distant future (June, if all goes to plan).
